FAQs

What is the difference between cement tiles and pavers?

Pavers are thicker and narrower than cement tiles and come in various shapes and designs. Cement tiles, on the other hand, are thinner and wider and are usually just square-shaped with different surface textures. In terms of installment, pavers and cement tiles would just need to be laid out close together based on the chosen style/design. Pavers, however, are less permanent in the sense that no adhesive is used upon installation; the colors also fade more easily than that of cement tiles.

How would I know if I should use Primax or Ecomax pavers?

Primax and Ecomax are both pavers made of high-quality materials, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. After all, both brands are specifically designed in accordance with ZKO’s world-class standards. Ecomax pavers, however, are specifically designed for clients on a tighter budget so expect slight differences on the details and the overall quality.

Are pavers cheaper than cement tiles?

Generally, cement tiles are more affordable than pavers. Then, of course, several factors could make pavers cheaper such as the type/design and brand/quality.

Can I use cement tiles as pavers?

Cement tiles can be used indoors and outdoors so it could also be a great choice for pavements or a more affordable alternative for pavers. Note, however, that pavers are generally more durable so you might want to take this into consideration if you think the area to be paved would be open to high or heavy traffic.

What are easier to install, cement tiles or pavers?

Both cement tiles and pavers are easy to install in a way that even you can do it – no special training or equipment needed. Just be sure to be thorough with the measurements and consider the thickness of the materials. In a way though, pavers are often favorable as you won’t be needing adhesive materials such as grout or cement to seal everything so that’s one task lighter.
